Visitor Policy

Visitor Policy as of December 1, 2020

Visitor screening
(Visitor = patient family, vendors, or other non-employee guests)

    • Visitors will be screened: Anyone answering positive to any of these questions will not be permitted
      • Have you traveled in the last 14 days to areas with sustained community transmission?
      • Do you have signs and symptoms of respiratory infection such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and sore throat?
      • In the last 14 days, have you had contact with someone under investigation or positive for COVID-19 or are ill with respiratory illness.
      • Is anyone in your household awaiting the results of a COVID test?
    • ALL Visitor temperatures will be taken at sign in. Anyone with a temperature ≥ 99.5° will not be permitted to visit patients.
    • Visitors will sign in and out on the Visitors Log located at the main entrance and their temperatures will be recorded on this log
    • Visitors will perform hand hygiene and go directly to the patient’s room.

Visitation restrictions

  • Two visitors per patient will be allowed in the building at any time.
    • Visitors will be limited to immediate family as defined by the patient/primary contact.
  • VISITING HOURS: 8AM thru 8PM, unless called by staff to return at other hours.
  • No visitors are allowed to spend the night.
  • No children under the age of 12.
  • No congregating in the common areas unless requested by staff.
  • Visitors may not use coffee or water stations. Staff will be happy to provide you with either upon request.
  • If you need to speak with a nurse or other care team member, please press the call bell for assistance and wait inside the patient’s room. Staff will come to the room to speak with you or bring you to a designated space away from the room if requested.
