visitor policy

Visitor Policy as of August 12, 2021

Visitor screening
(Visitor = patient family, vendors, or other non-employee guests)

    • Visitors will be screened: Anyone answering yes to any of these questions will not be permitted
      • Do you have signs and symptoms of respiratory infection such as fever, cough, shortness of breath and sore throat?
      • In the last 14 days, have you had contact with someone under investigation or positive for COVID-19 or are ill with respiratory illness?
      • Is anyone in your household awaiting the results of a COVID test?
    • ALL Visitor temperatures will be taken at sign in. Anyone with a temperature ≥ 99.5° will not be permitted to visit patients.
    • Visitors will sign in and out on the Visitors Log located at the main entrance and their temperatures will be recorded on this log
    • Visitors will perform hand hygiene and go directly to the patient’s room.

Visitation restrictions

  • 2 visitors per patient will be allowed in the patient’s room at a time.
    • Visitors will be limited to immediate family as defined by the patient/primary contact.
    • No children under the age of 12 will be permitted in the building.
    • Per OSHA regulations and CDC recommendations, all individuals must wear a mask while in the building, except when eating or drinking.
  • No congregating in the common areas unless requested by staff.
  • Visitors may not use coffee or water stations. Staff will be happy to provide you with either upon request.
  • If you need to speak with a nurse or other care team member, please press the call bell for assistance and wait inside the patient’s room. Staff will come to the room to speak with you or bring you to a designated space away from the room if requested.
